try avenue in hidalgo, quiapo... they had tamron lenses but i'm not sure if they have sony mount

sony mount hhhmmm dont waste time.
i did scout them and they will just say no or sometimes order basis 30 days to 60 days.

why not buy it in hk directly u can have ur tamron in no time.

When I was in Quiapo yesterday, I did see one store that sold Tamron lenses, but I forget which one, it probably was Avenue as Jeff mentioned.

I have fallen in love with my Tamron 18-250. The images are super sharp and very detailed. If I hadn't paid so much for the CZ16-80, I would sell that in a heartbeat! The 18-250 is a must have lens (either that or the Sony clone).

glad not to jump immediately with cz16-80. as i observe my KM 18-70 bargain kit lens is sharp enough to compete with hi-end lenses of same & other brands. and has sweet spots specially w/ portraits. its just Sony/CZ lenses are damn expensive! 50mm non G prime lense SRP @ 21K PhP and compared to C (non L) or N same lense for around 6K PhP - its 300%++ more expensive! i wonder if the its only Sony PH who's expensive?

That's IF he goes full frame. For APS-C, the sony 50mm 1.8 is seriously very very good. Very sharp, awesome bokeh.

guys, do you know if there is already a tamron service center here in the Phils? I'm thinking of getting a Tamron but I am discouraged because of the lack of service center if ever the lens would be broken.
