hahaha!!! i have the sd version.

this cam can selectively show b/w and color in the same frame!!!

i like it a lot, except for the noisiness (which i still have to exploit further)

hi ian,

thanks for the positive comment. regarding your question, it has the tendency to get hot specially when you use the lcd for a long time. to prevent this, i seldom use the lcd and absolutely do not use the evf (which i see where your problem lies). and yes the viewfinder is plasticky which s*cks but at USD 300...can't complain much :)

and i don't think the weather is an issue for this...if the weather gets to that point that it damages the plastic finder, it should had an effect with the cam's internal circuit. in my opinion that is.

have you used a sony or olympus p&s? the noise management of this fuji beats the hell out of those cameras! (no offense sony and olympus p&s users :))

for seasoned slr users yes noise is an issue but when you look outside of the noise it produces and look at the overall image quality straight out of the cam...it isn't as bad as you might think it is. not to mention there's always noise ninja or neat image to help you solve the problem.

this camera really opened my eyes to the capabilities of point & shoot cameras. fuji branded ones that is hahaha

Hi, i'm also a Fuji 6500fd user. Bakit kaya natunaw yan? Baka may gumamit na iba and nalapit sa super init na bagay. I work out in the sun din alot of times with it...mga 2-5hours under the sun. Minsan naiiwan ko pa on a tripod, but there wasn't any part na nagme-melt. Pinapayungan ko naman na para di ma-initan circuitry or make handling uneasy. Bring it to Fuji and have them look at it agad.

@kayvan

nope it didn't push through...seems everyone is busy. don't have the time to make "kulit" to everyone in making this happen :)

i hope in the near future we all get to meet and shoot though.
