If this is your first try, you did ok on the the 1st & 2nd. On the 3rd, you don't wanna shoot birds in the back, it's a no..no...unless you can present something interesting like a head turn or a look back. The images are soft and noisy and the whites are a tad hot. Unless you can get really close to your subjects, your lens in not long enough for bird photography. Don't despair though, if you wanna practice more, I suggest bring some fries for the gulls and they'll come to you. These birds are very good practice targets for in-flight shots as they're not fast flyers. For perched birds, I suggest you focus on the eye. Bird photography is not hard if you spend sometime observing the behavioral pattern of your subjects. Good luck !!!

As what Rey says, the pictures are soft and noisy. A 2.8 or faster lens is good for birds and sports photography. Keep on shooting, i think your next post will be better than this:)

on top of what reyno said, the first image has a cluttered background.

The 2nd image made me smile for some reason. The focus is off (you want the eyes in focus), but still, like I said, it made me smile.
