hello rundell...
it would have been helpful if you included the EXIF/exposure data.
but anyways...
shot 1 what are you trying to show? it seems like a snapshot. would have thought you wanted to either shoot the house or the old shop's doorframe, either of which are awkwardly framed. it is also tilted. you can correct this in photoshop and make sure that vertical lines remain vertical :)
shot 2 best shot. nice central framing of calle crisologo. the barrel distortion is evident. thankfully it can also be easily corrected during post processing. the long exposure also "ghosted" what looks like a horse carriage :)
the rest nice starbursts from the light sources :) but composition needs to be worked at. you dont need to cram everything into the frame. its better to approach scenes by dissecting what you see and isolating key elements, making them big and prominent in your frame :) give the eye something central to appreciate.

Hi sir, can i comment?
1. Ask yourself. What to shoot? Much of the time, photographer try to capture too much, especially in Vigan, they try to capture the whole stretch of crisologo street. Why not capture in details? Instead of shooting the street, capture a lamp, a window maybe... (errr.. lamp and window?? can't think of something else but try to shoot something new) describe the place by shooting interesting details and make a story... try this.
2. Make it simple. I've notice that the first photo is somewhat misleading... I don't know if you want to emphasize the "antique sign" or the vanishing point of the sidewalk. Make up your mind! decisions.. decisions.. decision... har har.
3. Vigan is a tourist destination. Its been shot to death. So try to shoot it in a different angle. Find a difficult place to shoot that would be too much bother for most folks to consider. Find that spot and shoot, its worth a shot.
These are some of my comments... I'm still a newbie. I'm still learning... Goodluck!

in the first pic, the subject is not clearly defined, is it the row of windows or the antique shop?
the other pics have too many elements in them. simplicity, subject isolation is one of the key points to proper composition...
btw, i'm a newbie too

Hi Halley,
You should ask the moderators or admins to change you username to comply with the requirement - name and surname.
Also, it would be better if you start your own thread so you can get full attention with your photos.
