300D accepts both EF and EF-S lenses (EF-S 18-55 is the kit lens of 300D). Im very sure Sigma's DC lenses can be used in 300D. :)

That DC lens will fit ALL canon cameras, even the 5d and 1D series. The reason being it is an EF mount lens. Of course, you understand that if you mount it on a 5d or 1D series, it will vignette very badly. :)

I don't think it will have problems with the old 300d. But it might have problems with the newer ones (30d, 1D mk2) electrically as well. But you only asked for the 300d, so it will work fine with that. That's the problem with Sigma, btw.
