hello everyone. i've been a lurker here for weeks now trying to learn all i can about DSLR. after reading all sorts of reviews and posts about different cameras....im 90% certain that ill be getting the oly e-510 this evening.....(exciting no?) ....

anyways, there is still a very small part of me that thinks of the pentax k10d ( kase the price is very very close to the e510 and from what i read the pentax is actually a higher category SLR) anyway, my question is would you guys recomend the olympus if my goal would be mostly landscape and macro and the long exposure style that i saw sa isang thread here *ganda nun*? or do i go for k10d.

For landscape and macro i'd go with the Oly. For long exposure i'd go with the K10D. (read: buy both) :Grin:

ouch:( cant afford 2. hehehe...anyway followup question, for long exposures is the oly really disadvantaged a lot? i've read reviews about hot spots on higher ISO....but can anyone share actual experience with the oly?
