The Palazzo, the sister hotel and casino of the world renowned, The Venetian, opened recently here in Vegas with the likes of Diana Ross, Andy Garcia and his band, and the comedian Wayne Brady gracing the opening. The new hotel would just be like an extension to The Venetian as there was no flashy or beyond the ordinary offering as far as the interior designs are concerned, The Venetian is still the flag ship in terms of offering on entertainments, theme attractions and design.

hi aleli ... here's a link for the FZ18's camera review .. this site is a highly respected one in terms of what it is good at and that is to review new camera products and accessories. unfortunately it is only "recommended" instead of the coveted "highly"word placed first before it.

i don't want to influence your buying decision but if you are loyal then scan for other models of this brand that has that approval within the price range that you are comfortable with. happy gear hunting and enjoy the hobby and your soon to have "pana" to shoot
with. :Grin:

Hi Laurence ... interesting shots you got with your fz50 toy, especially the last image with the seting sun on the background and the crescent moons atop the archi structures .. great composition ... glad to welcome a fellow fz50 user.

Right now, I'm looking to move to a true DSLR and I'm considering the Canon 450D Xsi or the soon-to-be-announce, Oly E-520 following the announcement of the E-420.

As for the fz50, I will not part with it as it is still valuable in terms of usage and application. I have a Raynox DCR-250 Super Macro which I got on-line from McGill Singapore and a Focus Optics Super Wide Angle which I got from Hongkong plus the use of the 420mm long-end. For the true DSLR unit, I will use it for portraits and low-light situations among others.

Wow, this is a good black and white photo you got here Sir Victor!

Thanks for appreciating my shots, it took me quite a while to take advantage of the FZ50 capabilities... and I am starting to love this camera, very versatile... I just recently bought the Raynox HD6600PRO wide angle conversion lens and I'm really excited to try this in some of my photos. Nice, you have the DCR-250... I believe that is an excellent compliment for FZ50.

Good choice for the Canon 450d xsi, and I think that will be available this coming April. I am also tempted to go for DSLR, but since I am still satisfied with my FZ50, I can wait till the end of this year to go for Canon 40d. And same like you, I will still keep my FZ50... my all around buddy! hehe....

It's good to know that there are other users here who appreciate the Panny! A lot of people are dishing the Panny cameras, specially the ##### users. You know what I mean! I'm also a Panny user only an older one, the FZ20. I used to collect cameras too but as I grew older I became practical. I used to drag along tons of accessories too in my camera bag, only to miss shot after shot because of the burden of carrying all these lenses which I didn't have time to use. Now, I only carry one!:Grin:
