Has anyone had experience with this plugin?
I downloaded the demo and it's quite easy to use but way pricey.

its one of my highly recommended plugins. i currently am using the demo also. i love it. it simulates different films from BW to colored.

so far, been using it a lot for some bw experiments.

yup. this is really nice. sayang walang velvia 50.

its quick and convenient to use. actually, it was nino who told me about this, back at the little dpp get-together at the last canon eb.

but, i guess you should also understand how to do the same effects in pure photoshop...to better appreciate the plug-in as well as understand its behaviour...

thats what i try to study...kasi hanggang demo lang ako! hehe.

I love how you can apply the effects and then do a little more tweaking to your own taste. I couldn't sleep last night trying to experiment - the cool/warm slider is just the coolest thing.

Nino and I were experimenting with the demo and were very impressed with it. A little more playing withi it. I also just downloaded Convert to BW Pro V3. After experimenting with both we will make the decision which one to pick up for the Studio.

I would also listen to Jay's advice cause these effects can all be done in Photoshop.

I'd like to get my hands on Exposure as well. Velvia can be simulated in Photoshop using the channel mixer. e.g under the red channel, increase red to 150, and decrease the other channels by -25. Then repeat it on the green and blue channels.

nice and sweet. though, i use steep curves on the "a" and "b" channels in lab mode. glen mitchell style.

Does anyone have the new Alienskin Exposure 2?

I heard it has more film simulaton presets, but not sure which ones were added... Exposure 1 mostly simulates slides, I hope they have print and more B+W film stock presets... I haven't tried this, just read one...

Any feedback from anyone?

i like the alienskin exposure as a plug-in. for black and white and color effects it has 40+ selections, i like the lomo effect really nice but still i prefer doing it in photoshop.

@Winston,

Are you asking for Alienskin Exposure 1 or 2? I have the version 1 with me... Difference is that 2 has lots of more film stock presets...
