Lopez 09-11-2006, 10:24 PM is there such? can't get the vertical shutter working but the af-on button and the command dial works fine...how's this so? somebody help a rookie :) thanks Roger just go to autofocus menu and click the options for the mb-d200. there is an option to activate the shutter button/af. can remember the details though jake_borres 09-11-2006, 10:26 PM did you turn on the switch to your vertical shutter? If there's a problem with your batt grip, i guess you have to it serviced by columbia digital or where you bought your unit...hope this helps out... Carlo R. Lopez 09-11-2006, 10:31 PM If there's a problem with your batt grip, i guess you have to it serviced by columbia digital or where you bought your unit...hope this helps out... lets see columbia digital in action:) roger_villon 09-11-2006, 11:13 PM bought it from mayers last saturday and have it returned this morning. he (ramon) said there's just this on-camera settings to activate the shutter which i can't figure out. carlo, i only saw two options for the mb-d200 on the autofocus menu and these are the AF-ON and BATTERIES FOR D200. I tried altering all these options but still can't get it to work jake, aside from the command dials, there's only the shutter and the af buttons on the grip, no on/off switch. tnx for replying guys Gil Penaflorida 09-12-2006, 10:23 AM You can check CSM a2 whether you are on focus priority or release setting ,also check if you are on AF-on or AF-on+shutter (CSM a6) half pressing shutter when in focus priority and AF-on setting will not enable focus therfeore shutter will not release. Try these settings and see what happens. Gil Penaflorida 09-12-2006, 12:00 PM This may be a good resource for D200 AF Multi Cam1000 http://www.nikonians.org/nikon/d200_multi-cam_af/ Carlo R. Lopez 09-12-2006, 02:08 PM 8k for the mb-d200 and 77k for the d200 body does the d200 have warranty? if so thats one hell of a deal. makes choosing between a d200 and d80 easier roger_villon 09-12-2006, 06:43 PM yes sir it does. If i wont be able to make it work within the week i'll definitely bring it back to the dealer. and yes you're right with the deal i didn't have a hard time choosing between the two though the d80 comes with the 18-135 kit lens. karlo_inigo_lucas 09-13-2006, 11:40 AM 8k for the mb-d200 8k na lang??? murang mura na talaga! :D roger_villon 09-14-2006, 06:23 PM thanks for all your replies sirs i've finally found the culprit which is a tiny plastic strip stucked inside one of the camera's contact terminals for the battery grip. I just simply removed it with a thin metal stick with the help of a magnifying glass and presto....the vertical shutter works fine now :) thanks again guys |
