in this forum BNCex when you type in the Title of a New Topic it searches the whole forum & shows similar threads, i wonder if that's possible here?

Cool and convenient feature indeed. Most probably DPP doesn't have such a feature yet.

Unfortunately these kinds of features often require performing several requests to the DPP server (to retrieve the list of related threads every time the user types a character on the textfield) or caching data into the user's browser. From what I've observed, DPP is somewhat restrictive with regards to the number of request sent to the server. Take for example the search feature. Users are restricted to perform a search until 20 seconds has elapsed since his/her last search. It's a good way to prevent the server from getting flooded with user requests that may cause it (server) to slow down.

it's also good if your trying to search for some certain Topic.
anyways DPP is good as it is now :)

thanks for the suggestion Willy. I checked that feature out and found it very useful indeed, especially with helping on moderation of duplicate threads for some members who's too lazy to use the search function ;)
