sharing a few recent shots taken with a Yashica Electro GSN (with yellow filter) and Kodak Tri-X film. minimal PP done (except for really overexposed/underexposed shots - the metering acts funny sometimes). adjusted levels and took out color cast from scanning (epson RX530) and increased contrast of a few shots. minimal cropping on most.

Jonathan,

Good selections. You have good eye for compositions. I would find a different angle and point of view on the fountain shot. Good show.

i like the 3rd photo on ur 1st post. photo of the park, leading lines of the park, light post, trees converging.

newbie question - yellow filter will do what?

newbie question - yellow filter will do what?

In B&W, yellow filter will accentuate the clouds and darken the sky. See my old Polaroid shot.

thanks for the commentsguys! :) yeah yellow, orange or red will darken/contrast blue to violet colors coz they're opposite each other in the color wheel. didn't really have to put the yellow on as it was cloudy anyway.

some more from the roll.. :)
