Ok Guys and Girls,

For the upcoming issue of DPP, we want to see PORTRAITS (faces, characters, environmental, half-body, etc.). Any portraits, as long as it is human.

The Photo Gallery should be open soon. Or you can send a CD directly to us, containing your best portrait shots.

We don't care about post processing, as long as it is printable (meaning not oversaturated or nuked out).

Photos in mono or colored are all fine.

Some photos will be used for critique. We will contact you directly if we think your photo would be good for a critique. You can agree or disagree. If you agree, your image will get printed in DPP magazine with some comments.

Deadliest deadline, January 3 2008. If you have any questions, feel free to post or email us.

I have a hunch that one of sir Manny's excellent portraits will be the cover of the magazine. Hmm... Timingly, he'll have a workshop on the 3rd of January(which I'll miss) - another hunch it will be featured. Hmm...

Conclusion: THIS WILL BE ANOTHER GREAT ISSUE!!! :)

Guys we started off January 2007 with a solid portrait issue. We are doing the same for 2008. Please don't give us your SNAPS. If you've been hanging out in DPP you should have picked up enough tips to give us some winners. If we have a load of nice entries, we will expand the Readers Gallery. Portraits is always a favorite so we hope to see the best from everyone.
