Guys,

I just want to share this. I saw this very interesting article in the new issue of Digital Photo Pro about this guy who "paints" very realistic images using Photoshop. One of his creations, titled "Damen (http://www.bertmonroy.com/fineart/text/fineart_damen.htm)," took him 11 months to finish, and it contains 15,000 layers, more than 500 alpha channels, more than 250,000 paths, and the flattened file is 1.7GB!

You can see his works here: http://www.bertmonroy.com (http://www.bertmonroy.com/).

Cheers!

Marco

PS:

I do not know whether to post this here or in the Photoshop forum. I guess here is the better place for it, but if it's not, moderators, please move accordingly.

Thanks for sharing the link Marco.

Achieving photo-realism is indeed another thing worth it's own merit. :)

Bert Monroy! He's da MAN! I've seen him give some tutorial on a TV show not too long ago, they call him 'Bob Ross' of Photoshop.

Bert Monroy is a photoshop legend and one of the true masters of the program. Now I bet he would still have a hard time creating a Parc Cruz image. :)
