taken outside our apartment after i fetched my daughter from school. actually there was an egret on the other side of the pier. i was trying to shoot the egret but the bird noticed me and flew. so, i turned my attention to the anhinga instead.

Nice shots :) Sayang, it would have been so much more nicer sana if hindi putol the tail. Lucky you, you have so many oppotunities to study this bird since it just hangs around your home. Looking forward to seeing more captures of this bird.

yup, sayang nga, i was too excited to photograph the birdie that i didn't realize na putol pala ung tail nakita ko na for post-processing. my daughter was also very much excited din nung nakita nya that she was too cautious in approaching the bird. sayang lang din talaga yung egret---it was a less than three feet from where i was, kaso biglang lumipad as i was lining up for a good shot.

we're right beside a body of water kasi and i think since anhingas are water birds kaya siguro madalas sila tumambay dito.

hm, kelan ka pupunta dito at dalawin mo si wifey mo? saka tayo mag-photoshoot nun, hehe. i'm not entirely pa on bird photography (will get to that eventually), pero sila kasi yung mga subjects na marami dito, so i might as well try to shoot them na rin.
