i sEEm to be getting bored with digital nowadays so i took the Old 135f2.8 + superia for a spin before something grows inside the lens.
just scanned the pics with an AIO HP F370 scanner & it seemed to make the pics a bit dark. the only mod here was the monotoned one. Film still has it's place in the midsts of this digital age.

Willy, you have a creative way to fight boredom. i should do try that one of these days.
When Chris posted "bokeh", i instinctively tried to extract the EXIF info of your pics, until I remembered that these were scanned versions:):):)
BTW, may you share your shoot data (if you noted them down). If not, perhaps lens type?

dan, it seems that nowadays all you have to do is just set the cam to P mode & push a botton - where's the fun in that
although i used a similar function with the FM3a, A mode, i miss the way you manual focus on the subject specially moving ones & that soft clik sound of the shutter:D. Although it take a few turns on the Nikon 135mm F2.8 to focus from near to infinity it's kinda fun doing it that way. All shot @ F2.8 - im a sucker for Bokeh eh! :)
Camera - FM3a
Lens - Nikon AiS 135mm F2.8 sadly the only MF lens i have now but will be......
Film - Fuji Superia 100
BTW the prints look better than what is posted.

Oh wow, I always wanted to have any camera from the Nikon F series with film lever advance.
I wish I could really own one. (Yeah I love the feel of manually advancing the film) and the sound of the shutter when you click is just so awesome, especially for mechanical shutters. Yeah and cool focusing when you peep through the viewfinder, those two semicircles, I love it.
Yeah and I really want to have a cable release to attach to the screw hole.
Cool scans right there Willy, I like the f2.8 on your lens. (I never experienced such a big opening, My maximum is f4.5)
and oh ah, one more thing.... what is the difference between superia and normal fujifilm? (sorry for the question but I've been to Photography for barely 7 months, so I don't have much knowledge)

As for the last pic, are you sure it is a "he" and not a "she"? If indeed it is a "he", doesn't he look like the kung-fu master villain from Kung-Fu Hustle? :)
Cheers!
