It's almost like the drivers out there with their sleeper setups: "stock car, modified driver!" in the end, skills is what gets you through another photo shoot and come out smelling to the high heavens for another gloriuos opportunity to improve our craft! =)

although one or two more new lens won't hurt =b

yup, same here. in my case, still undecided if i'll save up for another 30d, or a FF 5D, and have this cam of mine as back up instead. but my immediate upgrade right now is this fast wide-normal lens which i ordered from henry's last week... sana dumating na at nang mapaglaruan na.:Grin:

was only possible becasue i was able to get a good price on my d200 and sold several of my belongings with min outlay:) you know how it goes. thats what i get for hanging with gahum too much

actually the tripod is here to stay, happy with it for now. the ir filter is gone tom:( useless for my d200

Rosalie - yes they do...$1,200 for the Ikelight UW housing or $1,575 for the Aquatica. The strobes, arms and tray would cost half as much.

Ya guys are hilarious. I did finally find a camera shop that's well stocked here. Got to fondle the d200 (thank god I left my high limit credit card at home). Still out of 18-200 vr but put my name up for the 70-300 vr instead.

Hi Din, hahahahaha, oo nga Pancit Canton for variety. Seriously, next year would be the mother of all expensive purchases for these hobbies of mine. I'm trying to combine the two, photography and scuba diving:D

I really would want to upgrade my skills, have a long way to go. I have been scanning the forums and have seen some of the shots that were made by other people, it just blows my mind.
Gear wise, I would help to get a faster lens with good IQ. Better to shoot with good equipment than not to shoot at all.
