Expand your lomographic family, feed your cameras, play vinyls and meet lomoheads at the Bili na Mga Suki! Lomomanila Bazaar at Cubao X this Saturday (Nov. 17) from 2PM to 7PM. See you there!

Lomography has taken the country by storm! Thanks to LomoManila, a local photography group advocating a new form of photography rooted in individuality and freedom of expression, Lomography has recently captured the imagination of Filipinos from all walks of life.

This November 10 to December 1, LomoManila celebrates this triumph with LomoLove Too!, a repeat of last year's successful exhibit LomoLove at the BlackSoup Projects Artspace in
Cubao Expo. This time, the exhibit is bigger, noisier, crazier and filled with anything and everything lomo.

This Saturday, November 17, lomographers and curious newbies can come to the Bili Na Mga Suki LomoManila Bazaar, Analog Afternoon and The Newbie Sessions at 2pm. Lomo
cameras, film and other special lomo-inspired merchandise made by LomoManilans and their friends will be available. Vinyl collectors can also bring their favorite vinyl records for an old-school playlist party. Share tips and tricks and learn secrets from the lomo masters with The Newbie Sessions.

Great place to try and get medium format cams that the lomo heads might not want to touch ;)
Might stop by to horde UNEXPIRED film, which should sell for cheaper than expired film, considering how much lomophobes love expired slides.

unexpired positives - P250-P400
expired positives - P90-P150

ohh velvia 50 for 225 is ok na :) i only have kodak ektachromes and elitechromes. those are 1-2 year expired stocks. got them for about less than P100 each in davao :D

hahaha i'll see if there are still some rolls remaining. i cleaned them out eh :) uhm the thing with expired film really is that there is a chance of not having the exact color reproduction or the film not living up to it's advertised qualities. that's just it. although if stored properly, it'll last probably more than it's indicated lifespan :)

i'll be in manila next week, i'll bring some ektachromes for you :) i only have a few elitechromes na lang hahaha

Bring some ektachromes, I'll buy from you... I used a 4year expired Superia before, and it looked like it has been cross-processed to E-6... Constrasty and some colors become muted (blues). Nice effect!

you should try using fujicolor 100. good colors and tones, cheap too :)

For some reason, I love Kodak films better... I'm using the Profoto100's (around 60pesos each), and the Gold200's (85each).... How much are the fujicolors there? Maybe you can bring rin some, I can try from you... Hehehe

Btw, I talked to Dani-girl... She's asking for her pics! :)

the profoto100's are probably kodak's version of the fujicolor100s. i like fuji's tones better hahaha i'll see if i can drop by the photo shop this week but hey if you'll be in hidalgo, they have that too :)

Actually, I have 5boxes of Profoto100's (contains 5roll ea) already (this is already my supply of mid-speed negatives). However, I want more slides. Only slides in Hidalgo are Velvias50's and uber-priced ektachromes (way expensive). If you can bring Ektas for 100php, I'll buy as much as you can carry back to Manila... Hahahah

Otep once told me that there's this store called Small Wonder who has slide films for sale. It's somewhere near SSS in Gorordo. :) Haven't got the chance to visit the place, though.

That's why I use orange marmalade. I'm too lazy to caramelize brown sugar on spam :D
